A Distant Music

An Anthology of Australian Sacred Music

In this ancient land of Australia, our church musicians and composers have been heavily influenced by the western tradition in all areas of church liturgy. This anthology contains some of the best that Australian (whether born here, naturalised, or resident elswhere on this “fixed-but-floating ball”) church musicians and composers have to offer in the service of worship.

We look forward to gathering these works from choir libraries and composers around Australia, and presenting them for the rest of the world to explore and enjoy.
